BRUIN Financial launches in Asia and appoints new board director

BRUIN Financial, the financial services recruitment specialist, is opening its first Asian office in Singapore.  The office, which officially opens on 10th January 2011, represents BRUIN Financials first step in expanding its rapidly growing market share in the United Kingdom to the significant financial services markets in Asia.

BRUIN Financial also announces the immediate appointment of Rachel Fitton as Managing Director, Asia.  Rachel, who will initially be based in Singapore, is also joining the executive board of BRUIN Financial and has spent 14 years working in the Asian recruitment markets.  A fluent Mandarin speaker and a graduate in law and accounting, Rachel began her career in banking IT recruitment in Hong Kong before moving to Tokyo in 1998 where she specialised in front and middle office finance recruitment.  From 2001 to 2008, Rachel moved to Shanghai where she developed and managed a multi-site recruitment business in mainland China.  Immediately prior to joining BRUIN Financial, Rachel was the regional head of north-east Asia for a large pan-global recruitment group.

Since launching in London in March, BRUIN Financial has been the fastest growing recruitment specialist of 2010 and has already become a recognised expert in financial services recruitment and the supplier of choice for many global investment banks, wealth & asset managers and other financial services institutions.  Operating across a variety of service lines, including finance, private banking, sales & marketing, compliance, operations, risk, HR and secretarial & support, BRUIN Financial will capitalise on its clients ongoing demand for the best global talent by taking the strong partnerships it has developed in London and building on these globally, starting in Asia.

BRUIN Financials foundations have been built from the relationships and expertise of its management team with over 75 years of combined experience of the financial services human capital marketplace.  Its unwavering passion to deliver the highest possible levels of service with honesty and integrity has resulted in BRUIN Financial becoming a valued supplier to its clients and a business with whom its candidates place their trust.  It is looking forward to extending this reputation to the Asian markets.

Robert Thesiger, Chief Executive of BRUIN Financial comments:
When we launched BRUIN Financial in March, one of our highest priorities was to ensure that we would quickly be in a position to work with our clients on a global basis.  Expanding our international footprint, starting in Singapore, will ensure that the strong partnerships we have already built in London can properly extend to Asia and that we can begin to supply talent to our clients on a genuinely global basis.

Rachel Fitton, Managing Director of BRUIN Financial Asia says:
We look forward to developing the BRUIN Financial brand across the Asian region which we believe has strong long- term potential.  The opening of our Singapore office is an important step in our strategy to establish recruitment operations in high growth financial services markets and we look forward to growing the business there in 2011.
