CEO Makes Historic Speech with a Worlds First in Technology from Musion: Head of Randstad Appears as a Hologram to 26 Global Locations in a Single Day
London, Tuesday 5th October, 2010: The CEO of Randstad, the second largest global recruitment company located in 44 countries, took an unprecedented step in technology over the weekend, fuelled by his ambition to speak personally to every one of his 28,000 employees on the day of the companys 50th Anniversary. On Saturday 2nd October, the CEO, Ben Noteboom, spoke on stage as a hologram at a record-breaking 26 parties in one day, despite their locations in 18 disparate countries across the globe. Ben delivered his pre-recorded speech in 4 languages (English, Dutch, German and French) with subtitles in 9 languages.
Musion, the exclusive master global Licensor for the Eyeliner system, is the company behind this patented holographic technology. Musion collaborated with a network of 16 international resellers and Randstad to create this phenomenal global celebration. Using close consultation with Randstad to ensure the success of every show, Musion acted as the production company, designer, creative consultant and technical executor for the holographic element of each location.
As well as the CEOs speech, a holographic appearance of top ranking international DJ Markus Schulz launched each party with an exclusive 2010 remix of Randstads corporate theme tune, Good to Know You. Top ranking local DJs then took over the set in each location around the world.
To commemorate its 50th Anniversary with stunning visuals, Randstad, which shares a belief with Musion in training and supporting emerging talent in the visual arts, worked with the Musion Academy (more information below) to sponsor a global visual arts competition. Facilitated by Musion, visual artists used the Musion system to display their artworks at each of the 26 locations and will be now judged online by the 28,000 employees in attendance. This groundbreaking competition attracted entrants from all over the world, ranging from new artists, such as VJ Super Geek from Australia and VJ Ventoline from Tokyo, to better known names such as Shantell Martin from New York and Londons own New Opera Hero. The winning artist will be presented with the trophy and a 3000 prize fund at the MAMAs Gala in London, December 2010 (more information on this below).
Ainsley Henn, Channel Development Manager of Musion, stated: This was the biggest and most challenging project we have taken on to date, but also the most rewarding and enjoyable. Randstad had complete faith in our technical abilities, which allowed us to make quick decisions and collaborate effectively with all of our 16 channel partners. This project proves that Musion provides a truly global service and I look forward to working with more people and businesses on an international scale.
