Global Oil and gas project resource specialist, Mentor IMC Group, has opened a new branch office in Seoul, South Korea, in response to surging demand for specialist energy professionals in the region. This is the latest move by Mentor to establish its position as a key partner to clients interest in this Asian region, following the recent opening of its second Australian office in Brisbane.
 
From its six international outposts, Mentor sources and manages key personnel for on- and offshore projects during the design, construction and commissioning phases. A local presence in South Korea enables Mentor to closely support the globally recognized importance of South Koreas excellent reputation for the construction of the oil and gas sectors major offshore projects primarily from sites in Ulsan and Koje Island. The new branch allows Mentor IMC to swiftly bring in foreign expertise fully in compliance with South Korean employment legislation and more easily assist its international clients who have project interests in South Korea.
