Alderwood Education expansion sees team double in size
Alderwood Education, recruitment specialists in Work-Based Learning, Employability & Welfare to Work Sectors and Schools, Colleges & Supply is the newest addition to the Matchtech Group, the leading AIM listed Recruitment Group. Since its launch in September 2010, the Company has benefitted from extraordinary growth and already boasts a database of over 38,000 active jobseekers which is anticipated to swell to over 60,000 in the next 12 months.
To keep up with this exceptional growth, Alderwood Education has had to expand the company. This growth sees the team double in size in just over one month. The new appointments will be placed in departments focusing on temporary appointments, Work Based Learning and Schools and Supply.
One key appointment is that of Jamie Harding.  Harding has joined Alderwood Education as Operations Manager to further develop the Schools team. With over seven years experience working in the Education recruitment sector, for the last three years he has worked for one of the largest education recruiters of supply teachers in England, managing their Hampshire business. 
Building a team to recruit high calibre candidates for schools and Local Education Authorities in the local area Harding aims to further develop relationships with key clients across the South.
Jamie Harding says: I am really excited about this new venture. Alderwood has an extremely strong background in its existing sectors and I know we can utilise this along with my experience to push rapidly into the supply teaching market.
Mat Beecham has been appointed as Senior Consultant working within the Colleges sector, bringing 10 years previous recruitment experience from within the Matchtech Group.  He will work with clients to advise them on the different options available for undertaking temporary Assessors, Tutors & Lecturers, on either long-term or short-term assignments. Jack English and Lily Casselden have also joined the Schools division.
Charlotte Nancarrow has joined the Work-Based Leaning team with over 3 years experience in the Work-Based Learning industry, working as a Trainer/Assessor and Training Manager. Charlotte holds a number of industry qualifications including A1,QTLS & DTLLS bringing even more industry knowledge into the company. In addition Jenny Harrison has been appointed as Candidate Liaison.
These additions will strengthen the client facing business and support candidates currently signed up with Alderwood Education.
