Correlate founder wins the Best Recruitment Services Award at 2010 Compliance Register Awards
Correlate Search founder Gavin Bonnets services to city recruitment were formally recognised at The Savoy Hotel on Thursday 4 November when more than 1000 guests attended the 2010 Compliance Register Awards, the largest annual event for the UKs financial services compliance and regulation community. Correlate saw off three other shortlisted city recruitment firms to win the award.
"For Correlate to win, it had to secure the majority of votes from two independent panels. In the first round, the seven members of the Academy of Compliance Excellence voted to whittle down the shortlist of candidates to two. Having got through the first round, the five members of the Awards judging panel voted to select the winner. It is testament to Correlate's professionalism and standing in the industry that the firm won," said Ben Goh, secretary of the Compliance Register.
The OStCaR Awards (Outstanding Service to Compliance and Regulation) were established in 2004 by the Compliance Register, a professional industry group with 1500 members including bankers, financial advisers, fund managers and share dealers. Bonnet said:
Its especially pleasing to win an award like this because the nomination and judging process is uncommonly rigorous. There are more than 300 City recruitment firms so to be singled out by the compliance and regulation community for outstanding service is a great honour for Correlate.
