End to ATG skills shortage

End to ATG skills shortage
Redrock Consulting announces Partnership with McFadyen in UK
A specialist IT services and resourcing company has announced a newly formed alliance with US and India based ATG consultancy McFadyen which will give UK e-tailers access to an unrivalled talent pool of cost effective and highly experienced onshore, offshore, and nearshore ATG services and resources, or a fixed price approach to ATG project management.
Until now, a scarcity of ATG skills has led to project delays, poor service delivery and spiralling costs throughout the sector.  Redrock Consulting, finding that it was unable to keep up with client demand for ATG resources, took action to solve the shortages in the sector by striking up a partnership with McFadyen, the oldest and most experienced partner.  .
One of the biggest headaches up to now has been the shortage of ATG skills and high quality, cost effective service providers in the UK market, says Redrock director Ben Curnock.  Weve been working on a solution for a while, and weve found not one but two.  Through us, clients can either commission ATG projects on a fixed price basis, which can be delivered remotely by the specialists at McFadyen, or they can source a team of highly qualified ATG contractors to deliver work on or offshore under their own management.
Pent up demand for ATG specialists meant that our stand at E Commerce was very busy, and Tom McFadyen was there in person to demonstrate to visitors how his company has built and maintained its market leading reputation for service and solution provision.
Redrocks ATG qualified talent pool includes consultants with experiences in project management, governance and strategy formation, analysis and design, on and off site development, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance, enhancement and support.
Many of the consultants we have access to are ATG certified and all attend training courses in ATG best practice, says Curnock.  Their capability covers the entire ATG stack, including commerce, content administration, merchandising, search, analytics, contact centre, multivariate testing, customer outreach, self service, personalisation scenarios, optimisation services, and on demand and CRS solutions.
Access to Redrocks untapped pool of ATG specialists is available through a customised digital search facility which is unique to Redrock, and which the firm designed to drive down the cost of identifying and engaging expert resources.
With Redrock Central on your computer and populated with well qualified ATG resources, e-tailers will have access to their own talent pool, says Curnock.
