FIREBRAND TALENT SEARCH IS BORN AS AQUENT REFOCUSES ON CORE TEMPORARY BUSINESSSavage launches Firebrand as the enemies of average in permanent recruitmentFollowing the decision by Aquent to refocus its activities purely on its core business of temporary recruitment, Greg Savage, formerly the CEO of Aquent International has launched Firebrand Talent Search. This new company, a joint venture between Aquent and most of the former senior management of Aquent outside North America, will take over and further develop Aquents permanent and search business within the marketing, creative and digital talent arena.Firebrand Talent Search will have 10 offices in eight countries and will focus entirely on permanent marketing, design and digital recruitment. It has been launched, as Savage puts it, to ignite the careers of marketing, creative and digital specialists. Marc Ansell joins the company as Director of Europe, bringing fifteen years of recruitment experience with some of the industrys leading organisations to the role. Although separate legal entities, the two companies will continue to partner with each other, with Aquent as a significant minority shareholder in the new business. All Aquent staff who were working within the realms of permanent recruitment and search will transfer to Firebrand ensuring a seamless transition for both clients and candidates.While the Firebrand brand will focus on permanent and search only, Eloquent Staffing, the business support division of Aquent will also fold into the Firebrand group, ensuring that the overall business has a temporary recruitment revenue stream as well.At Firebrand, we want to be seen as the enemies of average, says Savage.
