JSA sponsors prestigious award at Recruitment International Awards 2010
JSA Chairman, Andrew Goodman, presented the award for Best Recruitment Company to Work For - 10-40 million, sponsored by JSA, at the annual Recruitment International Awards 2010, which took place at the East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf on Thursday night.
Largest number of entries ever
A record number of entries were received this year and the panel of judges was the largest ever, including: Recruitment International editor, David Head, APSCos Ann Swain and Marilyn Davidson, Richard Charnock and Carol Scott of REC and Kevin Barrow, James Wellesley Wesley, David OBrien, Denise Walker and Liz Longman.
Thirteen nominated
The ceremony took place within a spectacular glass covered atrium and was attended by over 250 representatives from the recruitment, accountancy and legal industries. Thirteen recruitment organisations were nominated in this category Amoria Bond, Astbury Marsden, Encore, GCS Recruitment Specialists, Head Resourcing, Investigo, Morgan Law, Now Recruitment, Outsource, Prime People, Protocol, RP International and Team Support and the winner was GCS.
Of the guests on JSAs table, the Morson Group won in the Most Transformational Acquisition category, Eden Brown were shortlisted for the Best Recruitment Company to Work For 100m and both Toni Cocozza and JSAs own chairman, Andrew Goodman, were shortlisted in the Hall of Fame category.
GCS triumph
JSAs Head of Sales and Marketing, Jonathan Margrave, who also attended the event, said: JSA are delighted to have sponsored and presented this award and congratulate everyone who was nominated in this category and, in particular, GCS who were the winners on the night.  Well done to all at GCS who helped them to reach this goal.  The evening was a great success and I particularly enjoyed spending time with our table guests Morson Group (also winners on the night), DP Connect and Eden Brown.
