RENOVO SECURES NATIONAL ACCREDITATION FOR EMPLOYMENT SERVICES

Specialist recruitment, retention and career management consultancy Renovo has achieved the Matrix Quality Standard for information advice and guidance (IAG) services. This is a major achievement for the York based business which measures its successes purely through customer service excellence.

The accreditation relates specifically to Renovos Welfare to Work service through which it has helped thousands of unemployed professionals and executives return to work in collaboration with Jobcentre Plus.  The service involves a comprehensive three month support programme of IAG, offering online support and telephone advice about producing CVs, job search techniques, job interview processes and more.

The Matrix Standard is a national standard developed by the DfES and the Guidance Council in consultation with information, advice and guidance (IAG) providers from a range of sectors, including higher education.  It is designed to identify and follow best practice in the delivery of IAG and defines the outcomes of a quality service whose aim is assisting individuals to make use of information, explore issues and plan courses of action in relation to learning and work. The Standard focuses on key activities relating to the delivery of the service and its effective management.

The Matrix Standard assessment itself includes a very comprehensive review of systems and procedures. The assessor spent a number a days within the business reviewing documentation and interviewing key workers, Renovo partners and users of the service.  The report praised Renovo for its very comprehensive resources and information available online for participants seeking employment.  It also highlighted that the advisor service was very effective because it is flexible, sensitive and highly professional support.  Participants interviewed were consistent in referring to the professionalism of advisors and how their approached helped to build their confidence, overcome barriers and develop necessary job search skills.

David Twiddle, CEO of Renovo, comments, We are thrilled to achieve Matrix Standard which reflects wholly on the quality of service that we offer and outstanding guidance capabilities of the team here. This is a very necessary step towards growing our unique proposition to offer support in all areas of the employment lifecycle, assisting both the employer and employee through recruitment, retention and release requirements.

The Matrix Standard achievement will assist Renovo to achieve its ambitious plans to increase its team from 30 to 150 and turnover from 2 million to 15 million over the next five years.
