As a tier one supplier, Scantec will be providing personnel for national and international projects.
Managing director Peter Bates said that Scantec will be supplying candidates across Biwaters six divisions including supply to BiProduct Recovery as well as its design arm Farrer Consulting.
The Biwater Treatment contract will show Scantecs ability to deliver technical and engineering personnel on a national and international stage, he said. Providing temporary and permanent staff requires different skill sets in a recruiter and Scantec has terrific experience in placing both contract styles. The tier one status shows we have a wide and varied skill base, versatile enough to cater for all six divisions.
The tier one contract with Biwater has also led to further work for the top 10 technical and engineering recruitment firm in supporting Biwater in a joint venture.
Mr Bates, said: Through the relationship we have built up with Biwater we have secured a great opportunity to work on a joint venture supplying personnel to Biwater, Galliford Try and Mott McDonald. The contract is with Thames Water and Scantec will act as one of 10 suppliers on a tier one PSL supporting the AMP5 framework contract.
