- Rapidly growing recruiter responds to need for greater financial organisation
After a period of major business growth, leading industrial recruitment firm Transline Resource has appointed a new Finance Director to oversee the financial interface between its Halifax Head Office and its 35 satellite offices throughout the UK.
The person given the task is Leeds-based Jenni Hardy who, before joining the company, worked for Grant Thornton UK LLP where she handled the audit of Transline Resources accounts. As a result, she has a deep knowledge of the business and, although her previous work was in a different role, she is confident her experience there will be highly beneficial.
Transline Resource is a dynamic forward thinking company which has been hugely successful in recent years, said Jenni. With such rapid growth there is a need to restructure and financial organisation is at the very heart of that process. There is now a fantastic team in place and Im confident we will rise to the challenge.
Despite only recently taking up her post Jenni has already made her mark, putting systems in place for streamlining finances and ensuring the department works closely with the accounting department to enhance overall efficiency.
And the responsibility does not faze Jenni, who is well experienced in managing teams of varying sizes. But the team has certainly impressed her so far. She added: Although I havent been here long everyone has made me feel very welcome and Ive settled in quickly.
She has high hopes for the future of the department and aims to improve not only profit margins but internal communication as well. Transline-Resource Managing Director Jon Taylor is very impressed with the start Jenni has made.
He said: We can already see her impact through cleaner operating procedures and enhanced measurement of our financial performance."
Fellow Managing Director Paul Beasley added: "We're confident Jenni's meticulous nature will combine well with her excellent people skills to help the company manage the growth it is currently experiencing.
