AESC Announces 2010 European Award Winners

The Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) awarded a leading French executive search professional and three top INSEAD professors in Paris last month at the occasion of its 14th annual European conference.

Marc Lamy, Managing Director of Boyden France, received the 2010 AESC European Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Executive Search Profession. In her speech to honour Marc, Trina Gordon of Boyden World Corporation highlighted Marcs passion for excellence in retained search and his leadership contribution to Boyden.

Marc succeeds previous AESC award recipients Anders Borg (2009), Richard Boggis-Rolfe (2008), Jean Van den Eynde (2007), Eric Salmon (2006), David Kimbell (2005), Didier Vuchot (2004), Anthony Saxton (2002) and Jrgen Mulder (2000).

On the same occasion, INSEAD professors Morten Hansen, Herminia Ibarra and Urs Peyer were awarded the 2010 AESC Research Award for Leadership and Corporate Governance (endowed with a cash prize of 2,000) for their article The Best-Performing CEOs in the World - published in the Harvard Business Review, January-February 2010.

Morten Hansen is Professor at the University of California, Berkeley and at INSEAD. Herminia Ibarra is the Cora Chaired Professor of Leadership and Learning at INSEAD. Urs Peyer is Associate Professor of Finance at INSEAD.
