Construction recruiter ends tough year on a high

A South Wales-based construction recruitment agency has announced a 33% increase in turnover, during what has been described as one of the toughest years for recovery in the sector.

4 U Recruitment, based in Ton Pentre, Rhondda Cynon Taff, has increased its turnover in 2010 from 2.1 million to 2.8 million and this is set to increase further in 2011.

Managing Director, Nigel Lewis said: We are witnessing a clear trend of growth and this is a tremendous achievement given the current economic climate within the construction sector. With a number of new contracts in the pipeline for 2011, we are expecting to further expand our presence across the UK and potentially take on more employees at our offices in Wales.

Central to this success, Nigel believes, is the continuation of a number of key contracts. He said 2010 saw us secure new and additional work with the London Underground, London Tower Cranes and Birse Civils.

Our strong working relationship with these companies and our ability to provide them with the best staff for their individual specific requirements has enabled us to steal a march on many of our competitors.
