ITN Mark Education once again achieves 100% in Quality Mark accreditation

ITN Mark Education once again achieves 100% in Quality Mark accreditation

Leading education recruiter, ITN Mark Education has recently completed the auditing process for the prestigious Quality Mark re-accreditation and has once again upheld its previous high standards by achieving the top score of 100%.

The Quality Mark is a joint initiative between the Department for Education and the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and is designed to help both schools and teachers become more confident about and raise the standards of the agencies they use. Quality Mark holders are required to meet strict standards covering the way supply teachers are recruited, selected and supplied to schools. To achieve the Quality Mark, applicants must undergo a rigorous assessment process including a comprehensive on-site audit, with re-accreditation audits carried out on an annual basis.

ITN Mark Education was first awarded the Quality Mark in 2002 and has held the award since then, clearly demonstrating the importance that staff at all ITN Mark Education branches have placed on adhering to and maintaining these high standards over the years.

Angie Nicholls, Quality Marks Head of Consultancy and Compliance, added: This further re-accreditation formally acknowledges ITN Mark Educations commitment to achieving and maintaining the highest standards in recruitment practice.

Kevin Green, Chief Executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), which manages the Quality Mark scheme, said: ITN Mark Education should be congratulated for achieving the highest possible standards in its re-accreditation. Being the holder of the Quality Mark gives an assurance to employers that all supply teachers and other education staff being provided within their schools are of the required standard and have been correctly vetted.

ITN Mark Education director, Sharon Bullock, commented: We are delighted that we have retained the Quality Mark with 100% compliance. This shows the level of commitment to the safeguarding of children/vulnerable adults and the quality of Supply Teachers we place into schools throughout the UK.
