G4S the worlds second largest private employer is proud to have been nominated in five categories at this years prestigious Onrec Awards.
The group resourcing team of Colin Minto and Matt Burney have been working extremely hard throughout 2010 to deliver a class leading recruiting solution at G4S and have assembled the A-Team of suppliers to build a recruitment platform unlike any other in the corporate world.
G4S is extremely proud to have launched the site. It has taken a huge amount of effort from all involved but we have achieved something unique in the world of corporate recruitment and it really is fantastic to have been recognised by our industry peers as having delivered a project worthy of recognition. The G4S global career centre, despite being a relatively recent launch, has already added over 35,000 registered candidates with that number growing daily. The site is launching its first non English language iteration very shortly with a full launch in the Netherlands.
We have developed a platform that is easy to launch in all the 110 countries G4S operates in and we have an aggressive rollout strategy for 2011. We expect to have at least 8 non UK versions of the site in place by the close of this year, all aggregating content back to the global career centre. Colin Minto.
G4S has been recognised as one of the top 10 employers in Britain and has achieved many accolades worldwide for their recruiting strategies and commitment to Corporate and Social Responsibility. This is the first time their commitment to recruiting strategy. technology and candidate service has been in the spotlight.
The aim of the site was to provide a joined up solution that did not just meet the needs of hiring managers but also offered an exceptional candidate experience. The platform was designed to fit with candidate use of social media and to deliver help and advice in a way that was aligned with how people consume the web today.
The career centre offers a completely different experience to most if not all corporate sites as it offers a fully rounded experience to the candidate, taking them from their external social media activity through to a learning centre on the careers site before bringing them into our own internal community. G4S is extremely proud to be involved with Onrec and the Online Recruitment awards 2011, the awards have been running for six years and have seen some huge steps forward in the world of online recruitment being recognised and rewarded by the Onrec judges.
This years event is being held on 23rd March 2011 at The Grange St Pauls hotel in London.
