NEW MANAGING DIRECTORS FOR NORMAN BROADBENT UK

NEW MANAGING DIRECTORS FOR NORMAN BROADBENT UK
New Year resolution abounds for Norman Broadbent with the news that two new Directors have joined the Board Practice business in London. David Chancellor joins to build the FD Practice and Adam Turner joins to head the Private Equity Practice and manage the Professional Services and Pharmaceutical teams. Until recently Adam was the Head of the UK Private Equity and Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practices and a Partner in the Board Practice at Odgers Berndtson. Adam moved into executive search in 1994 and joined Odgers Berndtson in June 2004. Before entering the search industry, he worked for Bell Canada and Vodafone. Adam says, I have joined Norman Broadbent to add value to a motivated, collegiate firm that is driven by its values and is focussed on its clients issues and challenges. The market is looking for a new British led business to address talent issues in UK board rooms so there is a great deal I can achieve at a fantastic stage of the companys growth and development. I look forward to being part of the leadership team that continues to reinstate us as the search firm of choice who continue to offer world class service across sectors and functions. We have a great brand, team and ethic partnership with loyal clients and we treat candidates well and respectfully that is what the candidate and client market is seeking. David has spent the last 13 years with Robert Walters, latterly in Executive Search establishing a new division primarily focussing in CFO, CEO and COO positions. Prior to this he successfully rebuilt their Accounting business based in London. David says, Norman Broadbent has demonstrated its ambition to grow and the timing is right to build a dedicated CFO practice in the new Norman Broadbent business. This enables us to maximise our existing work in a year where there will be high attrition of CFO and FD board roles. Commenting on the new hires, CEO Sue OBrien said, We are delighted to welcome Adam and David to our team. Their expertise, international experience and passion for the search industry is something we all share and their joining is continuing proof of Norman Broadbents emergence as a leading force in UK search. We will continue to grow this year and will be making further announcements later this quarter.
