Shilton Sharpe Quarry Posts 2010 Profit Before Tax of 3.4 million
Shilton Sharpe Quarry, the market leading international legal search and recruitment consultancy, has released its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2010. These show material increases in gross and net profit. Profit before tax is up 122% to 3.4 million on gross profit of 10.1 million (an increase of 45% on 2009).
Gareth Quarry commented: We are delighted with our 2010 figures which validate the robustness of SSQ?s unique business model. With our own and associate offices across Europe, the United States and elsewhere, our activities span brokering law firm mergers, placing partners, teams, general counsel and associate lawyers in permanent and temporary positions within leading international and domestic law firms, FTSE 100 companies, governmental and institutional clients.
2011 has started even more strongly and we are on course to increase materially our gross and net profits further this year. SSQ remains uniquely well positioned to capitalise on the continuing changes and consolidation in the legal services market. We have increased our consultant numbers in recent months both in London and continental Europe and are looking forward optimistically to 2011.
