Berkeley Scott has launched Fruity Friday.  On the last Friday of every month each office of the leading hospitality and leisure recruitment specialist will be receiving fruit in the corporate colours.
Managing Director Mark Darby explains Fruity Friday is of course a bit of fun, but there is also a serious message.  Our people are key to this business, they work hard and we want to support them in leading a healthy lifestyle.
The message of healthy eating is an important one.  With recruitment consultants putting in long hours and with the pressures of a slow-moving economy, there are reports of some becoming worn down.  Berkeley Scott want to avoid this and are building on the well-being agenda by introducing duvet days, incentives that include partners and further family friendly policies.
Darby continues Our values are all around supporting our people and creating an environment that any professional recruiter would not just want to join, but also thrive in.  Of course nobody is going to get healthy by eating fruit once a month, but its about setting an example and making a statement of support.
