GCS breaks the top 30 in Sunday Times Best Companies list

Recruitment specialist scores top 10 rating for positive future

Improving on last years entry into the Sunday Times definitive list of the UKs best companies to work for, GCS has climbed to number 29. The sixth highest ranked recruitment company to feature in the top 100, GCS scored highest in the my manager, my team and my company rating categories.

I feel encouraged that our strong focus on creating a highly positive and deeply motivational work environment has been rewarded with this ranking says founder Chris Bartlett. In the wake of the recession, weve put increasingly more emphasis on ensuring that our employees feel engaged and supported at all times, so to be acknowledged for the support offered to all GCS employees by both management and co-workers is great news.

Breaking down the results into categories, GCS achieved the 11th highest score overall for the my manager category and was 14th overall for my team. Most notably of all, the company was in the top 10 with regards employees feeling that positive times lay ahead.

The growth of the company to include offerings for the Digital Media, Sales & Marketing, Banking and Accountancy markets has demonstrated our absolute commitment to expanding beyond the IT and Engineering markets and become a true Recruitment Specialist states Managing Director David Bloxham. Our employees recognise that there has never been a better time to be part of GCS and that our plans for rapid expansion over the next four years are going to bring with them great opportunity for everyone within the company.
