Local Company Directors marathon effort to beat breast cancer

Local Company Directors marathon effort to beat breast cancer

Budding runner, Debbie Lock from Bickley, Kent, has laced up her running shoes to train for the Virgin London Marathon in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign.

The Company Director of Jobfinders will join thousands of runners on the starting line on Sunday 17 April in memory of her friend and colleague who sadly passed away from breast cancer in 2010. She is also running to support three further friends who have also been diagnosed with this disease.

Debbie said: Last year I lost a very dear friend and colleague who had suffered twice with the disease and I want to run as a tribute to her and also to show support for my other friends.  It has made me appreciate just how much breast cancer touches of all of us. I hope lots of people will dig deep and sponsor me for my running challenge as its such a worthwhile cause and if I can make even the smallest of difference to help with research into this terrible disease, I will be very grateful

To help Debbie reach her target of 10,000, please visit www.justgiving.com/DebbieLock and donate what you can.
