Jamaica contract is paradise for UK recruiter
A South Wales-based construction recruitment company is celebrating after successfully placing its first candidate in a job on a paradise island on the other side of the world.
From their office in the Rhondda Valley, 4 U Recruitment won the contract to source a candidate for Kier International at their flagship Jamaica office, after gaining world-wide credibility in the industry through successful placements in Europe and the Middle East.
Managing Director, Nigel Lewis, said: This is the first placement we have arranged in the Caribbean, so its a land-mark win for us.
Due to our successes in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, we are quickly gaining the reputation of a world-leading construction recruiter, winning more and more international tenders to deliver staff as a result.
In the first quarter of 2011, 4 U Recruitments turnover increased by 40% on the same time last year.
At 4 U Recruitment we win contracts on the strength of our quality systems, our safety record and the hard work of our consultants and candidates, said Lewis. We look after our clients and as a result we tend to work for them over long periods of time. Thats good for us, but good for the client too. We get to understand their needs and can move quickly to help them with any of their recruitment problems.
Hopefully, this crucial placement in Jamaica will open up additional opportunities for us in the Caribbean, as well as America, so that we become even more of a dominant force in world-wide construction recruitment. This has knock-on affects for everyone, with us potentially taking on additional staff at our head office in South Wales to sustain future growth plans.
