Running to support life

Square One Resources joined the Macmillan Cancer Support Richmond 10K charity run on the 26th March raising 700. Donning the famous Macmillan green vest eleven sales and operational staff at various levels of fitness ran a circuit setting off from Ham Street taking them along the riverside in Richmond Park.

Event management specialists, The Fix UK an official Macmillan partner, organised the run with founder Dave Krangel, who compared the day providing encouragement for runners and the crowd of spectators cheering them on. This year the Richmond event has so far raised an estimated 2000 for Macmillan, with funds still pouring in.
Aoife B-McDonogh, Fundraising Manager for North East London, said the race had helped the charity raise valuable funding for Macmillan to provide support to people diagnosed with cancer.

Raising money can be fun, as well as challenging, but the difference made goes a long way. There are two million people in the UK living with cancer and Macmillan Cancer Support is aiming to be there for every one of those people. We simply couldnt reach our goal without the support of runners, colleagues and companies like Square One Resources.
