Syntax Consultancy is working in partnership with Greene, Tweed

Partnership Synergy
Derby-based Recruitment company Syntax Consultancy is working in partnership with the Nottingham-based European manufacturing and distribution base of global specialist components manufacturer Greene, Tweed to help the company achieve its Bold Future goal of $1 billion turnover.
Syntaxs Engineering and Technical division are currently sourcing and screening candidates for eight positions within the companys engineering, sales, quality and warehouse operations, all of which are new positions in addition to the 165-strong local workforce, at the Nottingham plant.
Greene, Tweeds Senior Recruiter Martin Johnson explained: Greene, Tweed  continues to invest heavily in the strategy of product differentiation and is working closely with key customers in the petro chemical and power, aerospace, oil field and semi conductor industries to understand their issues and future requirements.
We are then using our expertise,  knowledge and capabilities in materials, engineering  and manufacture to provide them with components that will add value.
However, the key to product differentiation and to Greene, Tweeds growth is the quality of the people working for us and we are therefore rapidly expanding our workforce in all areas but particular design and engineering expertise to ensure that this becomes a reality.
We work with Syntax because they have invested in understanding our business requirements and corporate culture which is of equal importance and the resourcing and screening work that they undertake on our behalf are crucial aspects of the recruitment process.
Greene, Tweed are also investing in the future of the business by expanding its Apprenticeship programme another synergy with their recruitment partner, Syntax who have recently recruited advanced apprentices in the IT services and Engineering and Technical divisions.
Greene, Tweed currently have a manufacturing apprentice who has completed his training, two more are working towards qualifications through the business and a further two apprentices are being recruited for the manufacturing and commercial operations.
Syntax Engineering and Technical Director Charlotte Coe continued: As well as working proactively with Greene,Tweed on the recruitment of key individuals within the UK operations of their global business, I am delighted that we are of the same mind to invest in the future through the nationally-recognised Apprenticeship programme.
Both companies are committed to addressing any future skills shortages, giving young people the opportunity to take the first step on the employment ladder and are supporting the regions economy by embracing the well-structured and successful Apprenticeship framework.
Greene,Tweed are indicative of the buoyancy within the engineering and manufacturing sector and, as a family-owned company operating globally with more than 1,400 employees, they are testament to the importance of a specialist approach to recruitment to give them the competitive edge.
