GCS scores nomination in main category at high profile awards
One of only four companies nominated for Best Medium Business

Continuing their recent run of successes, GCS has been shortlisted as one of the four nominated companies for Best Medium Recruitment Business at the 2011 Recruitment Consultant Awards. The nomination is particularly satisfying given the panel of judges comprise of some of the recruitment industrys most distinguished names.

It is immensely gratifying to see GCS being held in high esteem by our peers within the industry says GCS founder Chris Bartlett. The other companies nominated are all highly regarded businesses with excellent reputations and I take being shortlisted alongside them as a great compliment.

The category, for companies with annual turnover of between 20 - 100m, seeks to recognise companies who exhibit clear vision, excellent training prospects for staff, exceptional sector knowledge and a passion for corporate social responsibility.

Whilst we have focussed on expanding the GCS family over the last 18 months, we have taken great care to ensure that our clients and candidates continue to enjoy the outstanding service they associate with GCS comments Managing Director David Bloxham. Our vision of developing six diverse brands within GCS most recently the Accountancy brand has created great opportunity within the company and immense enthusiasm amongst our team. The GCS training academy is ever evolving and our commitment to CSR is stronger than ever.

Bloxham remains fiercely passionate about his personal involvement in the companys social responsibility programme, most recently completing the London Marathon (alongside GCS employees Ross Bartram and Chris Devonshire) to raise over 5,000 for the charity VICTA.
