Omega Engineering Services wins award for on-time delivery, quality and customer collaboration

Omega Engineering Services were proud to be awarded the Supply Chains for the 21st Century (SC21) Bronze Award in May 11.
SC21 aims to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace and defence industries. It encompasses collaboration, partnering and alliances, and encourages working together with openness, honesty, integrity and trust. The SC21 vision is to inspire exceptional performance by setting the highest standards for relationship management through the extended enterprise to create value and sustainable competitive advantage.

I couldn't be more proud of what the OES team have achieved together! said Andrew Hopcraft, Managing Director of Omega Engineering Services. It will take a while to sink in, but this is a fantastic achievement for us and our customers.

Cheltenham-based Omega Engineering Services submitted the application for the ADS SC21 Bronze award in February, having surpassed the award requirements for both on-time delivery and quality. Both have exceeded 99% for the last 12 months.
Our SC21 Bronze award is the perfect way for us to finish what has already been an amazing year. We set out to exceed our customers expectations and this, along with our customer feedback, shows that we are doing exactly that.

SC21 is designed to engender a culture in which the supply chain actively strives to deliver benefits across the aerospace and defence industries, explained Hopcraft, and the big names in the industry are looking for these values in each of their commercial partners.
I believe that Omega embodies these value-adding principles outlined by SC21, he concluded. That we have been able to win significant contracts with a number of industry leaders is good evidence that others in the industry feel the same way.
Omega will be officially presented with this award at the SC21 Task Force event on Thursday 7th July in Portsmouth.
