SUCCESSFUL DATA MIGRATION WITH GRIP FOR SPIRIT RESOURCING
 
Public sector specialist Spirit Resourcing has completed a successful migration of its data to the GRIP recruitment software solution from 2LS. This is now enabling Spirit to continue with its expansion plans, using GRIP across all aspects of its business.
 
Spirit had ambitious plans for growth but realised it needed more sophisticated and robust technology to support this. Initially Spirit decided to upgrade its existing database software to a newer version but this did not provide the functionality needed and there were some issues with the migration of data. It therefore decided to look for a new solution.
 
Following a selection process with demonstrations from leading recruitment software providers, Spirit chose to implement GRIP from 2LS, which is now successfully underpinning all aspects of the business. GRIP was developed by recruiters specifically to manage the placement process.  In particular, it streamlines working practices by allowing multiple windows to be open simultaneously, enabling users to switch and transfer data between them quickly and easily.
 
2LSs recruitment expertise ensured Spirits existing data was interpreted corrected and successfully transferred into the new database. In addition, it developed a number of iterations which allowed users at Spirit to test the system so it could be refined before going live. As a result, GRIP now delivers accurate and complete data which can be accessed quickly across the business.
