Theres nothing sweeter than keeping business local!

Theres nothing sweeter than keeping business local!

Its all about keeping business local for independent recruitment specialist Wote St. Employment Bureau.  The business was founded in Basingstoke over 20 years ago and they continue to help local businesses find great staff and support local people to find the jobs with reputable employers.

Its important that local businesses talk to each other because there are so many benefits from  developing great relationships with businesses in your own town. says Maxine Hart, Manager of Wote St. Employment Bureau.

Maxine continues: Exhibiting at the Keeping Business Local show in March was just up our street because it gave us the chance to meet new local businesses and people as well as catch up with those we hadnt seen for a while.

To entice delegates onto their stand, Wote St. Employment Bureau held a competition to win four dozen delicious cupcakes, lovingly prepared The Parlour Tea Room, a local business based at Viables Craft Centre.  The cupcakes were the talk of the show and the lucky winner was Liz Boatman who runs Boatman Cleaning Services here in Basingstoke.

Liz kindly donated a dozen cakes to a Basingstoke Charity, The Popley Spotlight Centre, who run affordable activities for children and adults in Basingstoke and Tadley.  Michaela Riley, Director of the charity was presented with the cupcakes at their centre in Chineham Park.

Building relationships with local business and people has been a recipe for success for Wote St. Employment Bureau, why not try and see how it could be the icing on the cake for your business too!
