ANNOUNCING THE WINNERS OF THE 1ST SPANISH YOUNG MARKETERS COMPETITION 2011!
 
Jordi Guitart from Danone and Mariana Trevio from IKEA will represent Spain at the 2011 INTERNATIONALYOUNG LIONS MARKETERS, scheduled to be held in France during the 2011 CANNES LIONS FESTIVAL
 
The winners of the 1st Spanish Young Marketers Competition 2011, organised and sponsored exclusively by Ketchum PLEON, have been announced. Jordi Guitart Clermont, Jr. Brand Manager for Actimel at Danone, and Mariana Trevio Snchez, External Communications Assistant at Ikea Marketing Department, have been chosen to represent Spain at the prestigious 2011 International Cannes Young Lions Marketers, which will also by sponsored officially and exclusively by Ketchum at an international level.
 
Through a wide-ranging and popular competition nationwide, which kicked off on 6 April and is hosted at http://elblogdeketchum.com/ on a microsite (designed by Mobile One2One, a collaborator on the initiative in Spain), the jury of professionals from the sector has reviewed all of the entries and made its deliberations, combining a personal voting system and a face-to-face meeting to enable shortlisted contestants to share their views. The jury was formed by Beatriz Faustino (McDonalds),  Flix Muox (Coca-Cola Iberia),  Ana DAnglade, (P&G Iberia), Almudena Romn (ING Direct), Santiago Mier (Danone), Reyes Justrib (Nokia), Eva lvarez (Contrapunto BBDO), Gonzalo Bruj (Interbrand), ngel Riesgo (DDB), and Teresa Garca y Tony Noel (Ketchum Pleon).
 
According to Teresa Garca Cisneros, CEO at Ketchum Pleon Spain, It has been very interesting reviewing the work submitted.  The briefs were of a very high standard and we are confident that Spain will perform very well at Cannes thanks to the efforts of Mariana and Jordi.
