SEARCH CONSULTANCY ATTRACTS NEW DIRECTOR TO LEAD SPECIALIST DIVISIONS

Search Consultancy the 500-strong UK recruitment company today (21 June 2011) announced the appointment of Julie Calisir as director of its call and contact centre and office services divisions in Scotland.

Calisir, who has 12 years experience in the Scottish recruitment industry, joins Search from Rise Group where she was head of recruitment.

At Search, Calisir will be responsible for strengthening Searchs commercial offering, managing the established call and contact centre and office services divisions together to offer a more focused client service.

Leading a team of 22 consultants, Calisir will be tasked with seizing the growth opportunities in the commercial recruitment marketplace, covering Searchs Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dunfermline and Dundee office areas.

The senior appointment is a key part of Searchs expansion strategy in Scotland, which is focused on increasing income and headcount by 20 per cent over the next year, primarily through maximising the potential within growth recruitment sectors.

Commenting on her appointment, Julie Calisir said:

Searchs reputation for quality and the consultancys culture under the leadership of Simone Lockhart was a major draw for me. This, coupled with the opportunity to use my experience to lead the growth of these divisions was a huge attraction.

Managing the two specialisms under one umbrella will undoubtedly benefit our client base, offering them a more focused approach in terms of account management, delivery capability, shared resource and candidate attraction. Although a highly competitive marketplace, I believe we have a real opportunity to set Search apart from its competitors and cant wait to get started.

Simone Lockhart, managing director of Search Consultancy in Scotland, said:

Julie is an important hire for Search and were delighted to have attracted someone of her calibre to lead the development of our call and contract centre and office services proposition.

Attracting new talent is a key part of our growth strategy in Scotland, and Julies wealth of experience will help strengthen our position in these sectors and more importantly, ensure clients continue to access the highest level of service.
