SCORO READY TO DRUM UP NEW BUSINESS

It has often been claimed that too many hours spent in front of a computer screen can sap the energy and enthusiasm from any employee.

Treating your staff to a break from normality can really make all the difference when it comes to increasing staff morale and productivity.

Oil recruitment and executive search specialist Scoro Solutions understands the value of staff harmony and recently organised a team building exercise with a difference.

Scoro directors Ross Gatt and Scott Shand hired out the nearby Altens Community Centre where the team bonded closer together following a testing experiment.

“We invited an events company up from Glasgow called Beatroot Workshops and they really challenged us by setting a musical challenge,” said Ross.

“We were split into two groups who both had to learn different rhythms and beats.

“By the end of the session we were able to collaborate effectively together to create some sort of recognisable samba tune.

“It was thoroughly enjoyable and gave us an insight into just how much we can achieve when we work together as a team.

“We are a fairly close knit unit at Scoro anyway but the team building process only further helped to develop our unified approach and certainly helped to build confidence in our consultants by pushing them outwith their comfort zone.

“Everyone gained something from the exercise and we’re all already looking forward to the next future test.”
