Assured Recruitment Doubles Workforce In 12 Months

Executive recruitment specialist sees staff levels increase by more than 100% and reports double-digit revenue growth

National executive recruitment specialist, Assured Recruitment Solutions, has doubled its workforce in less than 12 months, as the business continues to successfully place candidates in senior-level employment, leading to double-digit revenue growth and a demand for more consultants.

Assured Recruitment employs 67 people, 33 of whom are based at its Head Office in Keele. It also has employees in Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham and London.

The company was founded in 2006, and began as a team of three staff, but has significantly increased this figure as a result of continued success and a series of high-profile account wins, which include both national and local companies.

Adam Shaw, MD of Assured Recruitment believes that the company’s expansion is a result of its & lsquo;recruiting to culture fit’ approach to placing candidates: “We specialise in recruiting for fast-growing, Venture Capital/Private Equity-backed and entrepreneurial-led private companies, and following our success in this market, we’re experiencing rapid growth too. Companies need to make absolutely certain when hiring, the ambitions of their new people are completely aligned to their own plans. Failing to recruit to culture fit and unite ambition can prove highly disruptive to growth plans.”

In line with the current growth of its team, the company is now looking to appoint ten new members of staff by the end of the year, to further strengthen its existing team and meet the demand for business. The available positions include trainee, recruitment, senior and managing consultants, as well as account managers. These will be based at the company’s Head Office and placed within the Executive, Technology, Business Change and Sales divisions.

Adam Shaw said: “We’re currently looking for ten new people to join our team by the end of the year, which will allow us to maintain our level of commitment to our clients as we continue to grow at such a fast pace. We’ve had some fantastic new additions to the team in recent months, and the time has come again to expand on this and welcome more new talent to the business.

“The key challenge we face is quality, not quantity:  obviously, the job market is in a state of flux at the moment, reflecting the wider economy.  This places an increasing emphasis on identifying the cultural fit of the candidate to our own organisation, a factor which is vital for our success as an evolving firm.”
