Recruitment Website Introduces Social Media Channels

Information security and risk management recruiter recognises the value of social media in publicising its services to target audiences

Acumin Consulting, the leading recruitment services specialist to the information security and risk management markets, has re-launched its website to offer improved functionality. The revamped site includes social media integration allowing customers to access the latest vacancies and industry news, in addition to a host of new features such as access to a Youtube channel, blog and newsletter facility.

The new website allows Acumin to publicise its services to specific audiences via social networks.  Acumin links its blog to the site and tweets links to the website’s industry news page for users to share and bookmark through channels including Facebook, Digg and reddit. It also links to Acumin’s YouTube channel, which features customer testimonials and case studies to help drive a wider audience to the site.

Acumin also uses social media including Twitter and LinkedIn to announce its monthly Risk and Network Threat (RANT) Forums. These are networking events for senior professionals working within the Information Security and Risk Management market, featuring a speaker discussing topical trends and issues in the industry.

Commenting on the benefits of the new additions to the website, Chris Batten, managing director, Acumin Consulting, said: “Networking both socially and professionally is a fundamentally important tool for both candidates and recruiters. It is therefore vital that we engage effectively with the latest social channels available.  In addition to driving further traffic to our website, these channels have enabled us to specifically target audiences that may require our services and it is also an excellent source of valuable customer feedback.

Social networks have also helped us reach a much wider community for our RANT events and by increasing attendance to these events we can make an even greater contribution to the Information Security and Risk Management market.

In addition to social media integration the new website will provide better web-based services for candidates such as an improved search and registration process, more specifically targeted jobs for those registered to receive alerts, access to our quarterly Salary Index and advice on writing a CV.”
