Maximise the Use of Social Media and Technology in Retail Recruitment

Candidate Manager, a leading global provider of e-recruitment software solutions, will host a Corporate Recruitment Summit at the Millennium Hotel, Knightsbridge, London on Thursday September 29th 2011. The seminar will focus on maximising the use of social media and technology in retail recruitment.

Candidate Manager’s Corporate Recruitment Summit will feature a host of expert guest speakers from both social media and technology backgrounds to advise on improving organisations’ recruitment efficiency. The keynote speech will be given by Andrew Soane, Talent Communications Director at SAS, on the topic of integrating a company’s recruitment and communications campaigns to build up the employer brand. Andrew has been involved in the recruitment industry for over 20 years, having worked for companies such as Penna, Barkers Group and TMP. He will present information on social media use that runs into an integrated recruitment advertising campaign.

Keith Robinson, Founder and Chief Networking Officer of Career Site Advisor, also working in recruitment for over 20 years, will discuss how to use social media effectively to recruit, while Ellie Burgess, Website Director at, will advise on how to use job boards to promote the employer brand. Ellie is responsible for the creation and implementation of online sales and marketing strategies for the number one job board for retail recruitment.

Also speaking at the event will be Davo Ruthven Stuart, Founding Director of RecruitSoftware, who will discuss online testing for volume recruiters, and David Barrett, Managing Director of Cut-e, who will demonstrate online testing for retail talent.
