Taleo launches new social media applications to ease the recruitment process
Taleo launches new social media applications to ease the recruitment process for both hirers and candidates:
• A new partnership with LinkedIn, which directly integrates user's LinkedIn profiles with Taleo recruiting products makes it easier for recruiters to access up to date candidate profiles, while significantly speeding up the application process for job seekers
• A new, free mobile application called Taleo Radar uses location-based mobile technology to allow professionals to locate relevant business contacts and/or potential recruits wherever they are, providing real-time visibility into the people and opportunities around them
• Taleo Recruiting with LinkedIn functionality – two new functions via Taleo Recruiting allow the software to work alongside LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network:
o LinkedIn Profile Upload allows candidates to pull content from their LinkedIn profile directly into career websites, cutting the time required to submit information such as work experience, education and contact information and reducing the drop-off rates on application forms
o LinkedIn Preview gives any recruiter and manager the ability to view LinkedIn’s 120 million profiles directly through Taleo Recruiting. Taleo customers with a LinkedIn Recruiter account benefit from additional capabilities that make it easier for recruiter to collaborate with their colleagues, discover candidates, and track their progress during the application process.
• Taleo Radar – this new, free mobile application allows professionals to network wherever they go, from conferences to coffee shops. It combines location-based mobile technology with talent intelligence to match professionals whose skills and experience make them candidates for job openings, new business pitches, or professional collaboration. Users simply provide some basic information, such as name, job title, photo and contact information, that is broadcasted through the network. Users can then add simple posts about what they have to offer, what kind of opportunity they’re seeking, and how long they plan to be in a particular location.
