NATIONAL RECRUITMENT AGENCY BS EDUCATION ATTAINS PERFECT MARKS IN

ACCREDITATION FOR SUPPLY TEACHERS SELECTION

BS Education, the specialist education division of national recruitment agency Brook Street Bureau PLC, has been accredited with the Department for Education’s Quality Mark scoring a perfect 100 per cent in its audit.

This accolade demonstrates that they have achieved the highest possible standard of recruitment selection and vetting of supply teachers.

Brook Street Bureau PLC launched their education division in 2010 supported  by Education Development Manager Leanne Turner. BS Education offers services in education recruitment across the UK and has quickly gained a reputation for providing an excellent service nationwide.

Trish Stratford, Operations Director at Brook Street Bureau, said: “I’m extremely proud and delighted that we have been accredited with the Quality Mark. It is recognition of BS Education’s high standards of recruitment and vetting and gives increased confidence to our schools that our standards are of the highest in the industry.” Kevin Green, Chief Executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) which manages the Quality Mark scheme, said: “BS Education is to be praised for excelling themselves by getting 100 per cent, the optimum standard for recruiting supply teachers. The Quality Mark is becoming increasingly recognised within the industry as guaranteeing effective and ethical provision of supply teachers who are so crucial to the lifeblood of schools.” Supply teachers make an increasingly important contribution to the smooth running of schools. At the same time, it is essential to ensure that the supply staff that are being placed within the schools are of the required standard and have been correctly vetted by the agency supplying them.

Within this context, the Government’s Quality Mark Scheme plays a crucial role by providing a recognisable quality threshold and by promoting high standards in the provision of supply teachers.
