Randstad has announced the repositioning of their professional staffing companies to Randstad US, Professionals

Randstad, the second largest HR services company in the world, announced today the repositioning of their professional staffing companies to Randstad US, Professionals. The effort will more closely align each of Randstad's professional operating companies, strengthening a comprehensive offering of expertise to meet the changing staffing needs of companies in the IT, finance and accounting, pharma and life sciences, engineering and human resources industries.

The rebranding initiative includes changes to the names and logos of five of Randstad's professional staffing companies. The changes are intended to make it easier for companies to access Randstad's professional staffing expertise along with the global resources of Randstad's commercial staffing business.

"So many companies today are looking to reduce their suppliers and vendors to streamline operations and increase efficiencies. Randstad is realigning its businesses to deliver easier access to more resources, meeting the evolving needs of companies while supplying the same high-performing level of professional talent we are known for," said Dan Foley, president of Randstad US, Professionals. "We are excited about what these changes mean for the company and for our customers."

The changes in brand positioning and identity elements will not impact current service levels or supply of talent currently provided by these Randstad companies. The rebranding initiative will be supported by an integrated marketing campaign to build awareness of these changes, including online advertising and radio in major markets, including Atlanta, Boston and Washington, D.C.

"This rebranding initiative is designed to ultimately bring expanded services and solutions to companies and drive greater impact on their businesses," said Foley. "Across all of the industry sectors where we work, our brands have built successful businesses based on strong relationships and deep industry expertise. We will build on the success of our operating companies as we continue to evolve our business to meet the changing needs of our clients."

To further impact employment in the IT, finance and accounting, pharma and life sciences, engineering and human resources sectors, Randstad is also launching a new industry awareness campaign called "Inspiring Experts." The program's goal is to encourage and inspire young people to explore professions in these industries where future job opportunities are expected to thrive. Randstad has launched a dedicated portal at InspiringExperts.com that will house videos from students about why they are studying a particular profession and from professionals describing the impact they are making at their company, in their industry and upon the lives of the people around them. Visitors to the site will be asked to vote on their favorite videos. The student video with the most votes will win a $10,000 scholarship, and the top professionals' video will receive a $5,000 cash prize plus a gift of $5,000 to their favorite charity.
