South Yorkshire gets a recruitment boost as Search appoints Izabella Edwards to divisional manager in Sheffield
Search Consultancy today (17 October 2011) announced the appointment of Izabella Edwards, as divisional manager for call centre and office services in Sheffield.
Izabella brings six years of commercial recruitment and management experience to multi-sector recruiter Search. She previously held the role of regional commercial manager at Thorn Baker, where she was responsible for several teams across the East Midlands and Yorkshire areas.
As divisional manager, Izabella will be responsible for growing Search’s commercial team in Sheffield, building on its reputation as a quality sector recruiter in the region. Izabella’s predecessor Liz Evans remains with Search, moving into the role of business development manager for the whole of Yorkshire.
Izabella Edwards, divisional manager for call centre and office services in Sheffield, Search Consultancy, said of her appointment:
“I’m passionate about helping to source the best candidates for my clients. This new role with Search is particularly appealing because it will give me the opportunity to return to the hands-on, client-facing side of recruiting as a specialist consultant, while still continuing to develop my managerial experience.”
Debbie Caswell, managing director of Search Consultancy in the North and Midlands, said:
“I’m delighted to welcome Izabella to the Search team in Yorkshire and I’m confident her knowledge of the commercial recruitment sector in the region will be valued by both new and existing customers, as we look to expand in the area.”
Commenting on Liz Evans’ promotion, Debbie added:
“I have worked with Liz for many years and am confident in her ability to lead Search’s new business opportunities in the region. Her role as business development manager will require her to build strong, lasting relationships with clients, understanding their culture and recruitment challenges, both of which play to Liz’s strengths as a fantastic recruiter and manager."
