A GLOBAL recruitment company has launched its own Aberdeen X-Factor for talented graduates.

Morson International, which recently opened an office in the city, is encouraging recent University graduates to send in their CVs as the company looks to further boost its own talent pool.

The firm is looking for graduates from any discipline including HR, business and engineering who have a keen interest in the oil and gas industry and the drive to succeed.

And one lucky candidate will end up landing a permanent job with the successful recruiter which operates in eight major hubs around the world.

The winner will initially come on board in January as a resourcer with a view to progressing through the Morson ranks.

Sarah Hutcheon, who heads up the oil and gas recruitment team in Aberdeen, is looking forward to a positive response to the innovative pilot scheme which is also being promoted on the Robert Gordon University bulletin board.

“We are pleased to be able to offer one graduate an opportunity at Morson during a period when finding a job straight from University remains challenging,” said Sarah.

“I’ve no doubt it will prove to be popular and hopefully we are inundated with top quality applicants.  This trial could well develop into an annual project.”

Morson International was originally formed in 1969 and has overall staff numbers of 600. The firm also has more than 11,000 contractors placed across many worldwide locations.
