The firm has teamed up with UK management consultancy BMC Global Services to create the Bright Purple Academy to deliver a wide range of accreditation level training programmes with a strong focus on developing leadership skills.

The Academy, based within Bright Purple’s Edinburgh headquarters where the firm has taken on an additional 4000 square feet of space to accommodate the facility, will provide internal training and personal development programmes for its people and also cater for external clients. It will also deliver an important CSR role, hosting a new Bright Purple NEET initiative to help young people who are currently not in employment, education or training.

The accredited programmes delivered through the Academy are all designed around Bright Purple’s leadership model and will range from an introductory certificate up to up to a Masters in leadership. This will also include a customised mini masters in leadership Bright Purple’s Managing Director Nick Price said: “Nurturing great talent is at the heart of our current success and developing our own next generation of leaders will be at the heart of our future success. This is what has inspired us to launch the Bright Purple Academy, to ensure we can give our people the best possible training and career development available in the recruitment industry.

“Addressing the needs of our own business was the initial aim behind the Academy but we soon realised that the mechanics of doing this would apply to almost any other business or individual. Through our partnership with BMC Global Services we will offer engaging and inspiring accredited-level leadership programmes for the corporate community.

“The Academy also provides us with a great channel in our commitment to working the wider community. I’m delighted the first programme we will be launching is in conjunction with the DGM Training Consultants Ltd and Inspiring Scotland, promoting leadership and personal development skills to a group of young people who are currently out of work.”
