ReThink expand training academy programme by doubling the number of trainees

Six month intensive training programme

ReThink Recruitment (ReThink), the business and technology staffing company, has announced that they are doubling the number of trainees they will recruit next year to 20.

ReThink’s academy programme, which is part of their broader growth plans, lasts six months and is fully paid. Candidates get a chance to learn from senior consultants and Directors which means that they are ready to work with all of ReThink’s sector teams.

Michael Bennett, Director at ReThink, says: “Our first trainee academy programme, which we launched last year, attracted over 1,500 applications. After the programme, we hired ten of the trainees and are looking forward to doubling the number of recruits to 20 next year.”

“Trainees are exposed to a variety of sectors, such as financial services and retail, in order to give them fully rounded skills.”

For 2012, ReThink has set aside a budget of approximately &pound100,000 to train all their staff. ReThink has partnered with Lander Associates to deliver this structured career development programme.

Michael Bennett comments: “The main aim of the academy programme is to help launch individual careers and build core business expertise. Working across the various sectors will enable our trainees to gain insights into the industries we serve as well as the environments in which our clients work.”

“Our investment in staff training will give all our trainees the platform to achieve their career objectives. We want to be able to create an environment where individuals are supported and trained so they can help contribute to the business’ long term success.”

Trainees are presented with &pound1,000 graduation bonus at the end of the programme.

Michael adds: “We have a long term commitment to our training academy programme and we believe that this training is essential – not only for our company but the industry as a whole.”

“We want our recruitment consultants to build a proper business relationship with the client and this training programme is an important part of this.”

“By ensuring our recruits have detailed knowledge of all the sectors we serve, we can be confident that they are able to give our clients informed advice and excellent service from day one.”
