Global Executive Search Professionals Head To Vegas Conference

Organisers of the World Executive Search Congress (#LVSearchCongress), taking place in Las Vegas in early March, have revealed that – with three months to go – the conference has already attracted bookings from across the globe. Delegates are attending from North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania, making the conference one of the most international events that the Search industry has ever seen.

The conference has parallel content streams, designed to attract delegates from across the Search industry, but Jason Starr, President of Dillistone Systems, explained that most attendees are from partner level.

“Given the current state of the European economy, leaders of executive search firms are looking at ways to get involved in more international work and a great way to do this is to partner with businesses in other parts of the globe. I think attendees are recognising that this event creates a unique opportunity to achieve that.”

A further draw for the event has been its focus on how search firms can win more business.

“The event content is varied and includes everything from internet research through to telephone interviewing. However, we’ve seen a lot of demand for the business development parts of our agenda – we’ve sourced speakers who have strategized with some of the largest and most successful search business in the World and we believe that the sessions with these speakers will be particularly well attended.”

The event takes place in Las Vegas on March 5-6 2011, with optional workshops on March 4th and March 7th. Early bird bookings are available until December 22nd, and full details may be found at www.search-consult.com/lasvegas2012
