RESOURCE&trade SERVICES GROUP ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF DR LEN O’HAGAN AS CHAIRMAN

 

Resource Services Group, which employs 6,300 staff in the provision of essential support and business-critical services to the private and public sector in the UK, Ireland and the Isle of Man, has announced the appointment of prominent Northern Ireland born businessman Dr Len O’Hagan as Chairman of its Board.

Dr O’Hagan, who is Chairman of Belfast Harbour Commissioners, has a distinguished pedigree in business development and takes the helm following the recent management buy-in at Resource and a major strengthening of the group’s balance sheet.  Dr O’Hagan has held a number of senior positions with a range of international companies, including Managing Director in the Jefferson Smurfit Group, CEO of Fitzwilton PLC and Chairman of Safeway Ireland. He is also currently Chairman of business consultancy company OHC Corporate Advisers Ltd, Chairman of Rockingham Motor Circuit, and Vice President of the Ireland US Council.

With its unique geographical footprint across the UK, Ireland and The Isle of Man, along with expertise in several growing niche markets, the company is focusing on segments of the support services market where it has an established reputation for its service delivery. These include critical support services to Police and Justice, Healthcare, Education, and the Private Sector.
