TheJobPost helps employers shape the future of talent acquisition

Monday saw the first of TheJobPost’s & lsquo;Future of Talent Acquisition seminars’ for HR professionals. The event attracted huge interest and was massively oversubscribed with over 90 delegates from blue chip companies and global businesses including Google, BP, Microsoft, Vodafone, HP and Barclays attending The Guardian’s Kings Place offices in London.

Featured presentations included The Guardian and its professional networks TheJobPost’s co-hosts, Broadbean Technology on increasing direct hires Net Natives with social media recruiting AllTheTopBananas.com and mobile online recruiting strategies and TheJobPost presenting its universal candidate acquisition and intelligent search methods. Commenting on the event, TheJobPost’s chief executive John Paul Caffery said, & lsquo; This event was the first in our series of seminars to help employers achieve a competitive edge through talent acquisition which integrates the online environment and technology with established recruitment methods. The current economic climate and record youth employment are exacerbating the UK’s skills gap with fewer people gaining the skills and experience employers need. These new approaches are crucial for employers to achieve global competitive advantage through their workforce and our talent acquisition seminars are a first step to give HR professionals the knowledge and assets they need to achieve this.’

TheJobPost’s next seminar which is open to both recruitment owners and employers is scheduled for 2 February next year, again in London and bookings are being taken. To reserve a place call 0203 036 0874 or email jp.caffery@thejobpost.co.uk.
