Top 10 Tech Track company Telemetry on a mission to mould and motivate young minds

Anthony Rushton, co-founder of one of Britain’s leading internet engineering companies, Telemetry, is accepting applications for apprenticeships at the firm.

Telemetry saves advertisers vast amounts in revenue by independently and transparently delivering and auditing their online video ad campaigns. Mr Rushton started the company with two friends, after they ran a successful Emmy-award winning online video production business. Today it operates high above London in state-of-the-art premises on the 39th Floor of Tower 42 in the City, with global advertising giants Reckitt Benckiser and Anheuser Busch among its clients.

“Britain is at the cutting edge of a technological revolution – it’s the most exciting time in decades to be part of the internet engineering business, particularly in London which is seeing a boom of entrepreneurship and innovation in the sector,” said Mr Rushton.

“This boom is set to continue, and is swallowing up anyone with the skills and determination to succeed. We need more, better and brighter young minds, and Telemetry is set to help motivate and mould them.”

Mr Rushton said he recently sponsored a strategic meeting – Ahead in the Clouds – at which leading movers and shakers in the world of business and entrepreneurship gathered to debate the benefits of cloud computing for businesses.

“Talking to people like Lord Young (Government enterprise advisor) at that meeting brought home the fact that apprenticeship is a valuable way in which to assure a skilled and experienced workforce for the future, a way to help with the problem of youth unemployment, and on a national level to help Britain realise its full potential as the top technical hub in Europe, if not the world.”
