Head Resourcing creates group structure to allow further growth

Award-winning recruitment consultancy Head Resourcing are delighted to announce exciting changes to its management structure today.

The Edinburgh based company has revealed that it is creating a Group Structure, containing two operating businesses (Head Resourcing and Head Medical), which will share services, governance and corporate strategy.

These changes have led to Huw Martin’s promotion to Managing Director of Head Resourcing and Lee Murray’s promotion to Deputy Managing Director and Commercial Director. Head Resourcing are also delighted to announce Anna Payne’s appointment as Managing Director of Head Medical.

On his appointment Huw Martin said, “This is a huge opportunity to lead such a strong team and business into 2012 I am delighted to be tasked with growing Head Resourcing and developing our people further, increasing our presence across the UK and ensuring that we retain the qualities that have made us successful over the last 10 years.”

Anna Payne, Managing Director of Head Medical, said: “Being part of an established and successful company has been fantastic and instrumental in achieving such rapid growth during Head Medical’s start-up phase, and I am delighted to be leading the new business into this next exciting phase of growth and development”.

Gordon Adam, former Managing Director and newly appointed Chief Executive of the Group commented,

“We have made this exciting change to recognise the importance of our business leaders and their teams who will drive each of our core businesses forward into the future. I have complete confidence that Huw, Lee and Anna will continue to lead and grow their respective businesses successfully.

The company still maintains its entrepreneurial outlook and the success of our international medical business, Head Medical, demonstrates that one way to expand is to innovate and launch into new markets. So looking to the next 10 years, I am moving into a more strategic role within the Group and a large part of my role will be to identify new business opportunities, which could include acquisitions, but also growth sectors and products, along with leaders of the future.

Over the last 10 years Head Resourcing has grown into a substantial, award winning company. 2011 saw a year of strong trading for our business with revenues exceeding &pound45m, a 30% increase on 2010 and a 400% increase compared to 2009.”
