Staffordshire based Global IT Recruiter reports 23% increase in turnover and on Target for 250M

Staffordshire based LA International has reported an increase in turnover in all core market sectors generating a 23% increase in turnover in the 6 months to 31 December 2011 compared with the same period in 2010.

“Despite the uncertain and challenging economic conditions that remain within the UK and the EU, LA International have continued to increase turnover year on year. The increase ensures LA international is on track to meet its turnover target of &pound151M in the current financial year to June 2012.  Through the securing of new business in existing and new growth markets across the UK and abroad, the company remains on target to achieve a turnover of &pound250 Million in the next 3 years” says Financial Director Paul Martin.

Based on turnover, LA international Ranks in the top 5 of IT Recruiters taken from an industry leading report compiled by Recruitment International (Recruitment International Top 250 Report) and is the largest single site IT Recruitment organisation in the UK . At any one time, LA International have over 2000 IT Contractors engaged across the globe. Specific areas that have continued to generate growth at the firm have been through increased demand in Security Cleared IT, Project and Programme Management and Business Transformation expertise as well as through major framework wins in its Managed Service Division.

With the increased business, LA International is set to increase staff numbers by 20% to meet increased demands on its 100 strong workforce based at their &pound2M purpose built HQ. The increase in staff also extends to additional consultants operating from its Managed Services Division providing recruitment solutions based directly on client sites throughout the UK.

“We have seen strong growth in our core and emerging markets in the last two quarters which has included significantly increased revenues within our Managed Service Division. We’ve worked hard to secure a number of large transition and technology focussed opportunities, with particular emphasis on achieving better value for our Clients through driving business change and a more collaborative approach to risk sharing, pushing the boundaries of what our market is currently offering.” says Sales Director Jamie Davies.
