First time entrants Eurostaff Group scoop top 5 spot in the Sunday Times’ Best Small Companies to Work For listing

Specialist recruitment agency Eurostaff Group, now operating as Staffgroup, confirmed as 5th Best Company to Work For

Staffgroup, providers of specialist recruitment solutions to the finance, technology (Eurostaff Group) and energy (Earthstaff) industries, is delighted to have been named as one of the prestigious Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For at the first time of entering. An established and reputable guide to the best employers, The Sunday Times Best Companies listings now include Staffgroup (listed as Eurostaff) in 5th place.

The company’s workplace performance was assessed using the Sunday Times Best Companies’ rigorous methodologies, which address a number of key factors including leadership, management communication, personal growth opportunities, wellbeing and how well teams work together as well as impact on society, engagement between staff and company goals, and remuneration and benefits.

“Having decided to enter the Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For for the first time, and subsequently being listed as the 5th Best Company is an achievement we are extremely proud of,” said Mark Znowski, co-founder, Staffgroup. “Since our formation in 2003, the company has been built on the premise of having a team of hardworking, dedicated and talented individuals. We also made a promise, as the leadership of the business, that we would have a set of values and build a culture internally that allowed our employees to grow as individuals, as well as specialist consultants within their markets.”

Staffgroup is committed to equipping staff with the tools to succeed – whether this is through flexibility in working practices, the adoption of new technology or rewarding staff with well-earned down time. It is also dedicated to ensuring all team members are involved not only in setting the future direction of the business, but also in creating a community in which every individual has the opportunity to grow.

“Recruitment is a great industry to work in but sometimes gets an unfair reputation for being cut-throat and only interested in the bottom line and profits. As an industry, we need to make a concerted effort to retain staff with innovative and rewarding cultures and benefits schemes,” Staffgroup co-founder, Paul Flynn, added. “This year we are looking to bring in the leading talent in the recruitment market across Europe to experience our culture, the opportunities and the success that our employees create. The top recruitment professionals working for the best companies are able to add true value to jobseekers and clients alike. This is even more important in what are currently difficult economic times.”

The accolade was confirmed not long after the rebranding of Eurostaff Group as Staffgroup to incorporate Eurostaff Finance, Eurostaff Technology and Earthstaff.
