Prince’s Trust creates 100 jobs as youth unemployment reaches 1.04m
The Prince of Wales’s youth charity The Prince’s Trust is to create 100 jobs for unemployed young people which will then try to help further 100,000 find work.
Prince Charles will visit the trust's headquarters to unveil the initiative, which is designed as a direct response to record-breaking youth unemployment levels, which hit 1.04 million last month.
James Caan, former BBC dragon and business leader is an enterprise fellow of the Prince’s Trust. Mr Caan is available to comment on the latest unemployment figures and the work The Prince’s foundation is achieving with young entrepreneurs. Mr Caan would comment “I am absolutely committed to fostering the next enterprise generation. We need to dispel the myth that having the right skills or background dictates the access young people have to success.”
