The Independent’s i launches iJobs
New recruitment service to attract The Independent’s 15m online unique users
Following the overwhelming success of i, Britain’s new and fastest growing national newspaper, Independent Print Limited has launched iJobs, a new recruitment portal.
The new service, which is live on ijobs.independent.co.uk, will benefit from Independent.co.uk’s 15m unique users from Independent.co.uk and deliver a unique combination of recruitment functionality with high quality journalistic content.
iJobs is a logical line extension off the back of the growth of i, which has a circulation of 243,321, and will provide a unique and fully interactive online career service. Job seekers visiting the site will benefit from an enhanced user experience, with recruitment related content from The Independent, i, and The London Evening Standard as well as accurate job targeting and an advanced CV search function.
iJobs is offering an appealing package to recruiters, with introductory rates to the service including an unlimited two month service for just £800. All first job postings will be free and can be upgraded to iJob’s premium service by entering a promotional code. The Premium Service ensures that each posting is on every page of jobs searches.
To sign up to the new service recruiters should visit https://ijobs-rs.madgexjb.com/. For a free first posting with upgrade to the Premium Service the code & lsquo;launch offer2012’ should be entered.
Ann O’Neill, Classified Advertising Director, said: & lsquo; The launch of iJobs leverages the reputation of i for modernity and innovation. We wanted to provide companies and HR professionals with an opportunity to advertise in a space that goes beyond traditional job listings, to make it as simple as possible to attract the best candidates for roles’.
