Almost two-thirds of Russian Managers Are Satisfied With Their Bonuses for 2011

61% of top and middle level managers are happy with the size of their bonus for 2011. These are the results obtained during a survey held by Antal Russia amongst 3,200 managers of Russian and international companies.

More than half (54%) of the respondents has received the bonus for 2011. At the same time about a third of managers didn’t received any annual bonus and 18% have mentioned that their contract doesn’t actually include a bonus scheme.

Bonuses of the majority of the respondents (47%) didn’t exceed 20% of their annual fixed salary. Quite a large number of managers (31%) received a bonus from 20 to 40% of their salary. Only 6% boasted a bonus of over 100%.

46% of the managers noted that their bonus has remained stable. Simultaneously 38% mentioned that it has increased compared with the previous year.

“The results of the survey have proved that 2011 was quite a successful year for the companies operating in Russia. According to our observations a lot of managers received a bigger bonuses than had been expected”, comments Michael Germershausen, Managing Director with Antal Russia.
